Unlike traditional methods (waxing, shaving, bleaching or using depilatory creams), Diolaze laser hair removal impacts the root of the problem, rather than offering a temporary solution. Traditional methods will require treatment forever, while Diolaze only requires a few sessions. Most patients immediately notice a significant reduction in hair growth after a few sessions and eventually smooth and hair-free skin.
Diolaze is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. Diolaze has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, making treatments convenient and fast. The combination of efficacy, patient comfort and speed makes Diolaze the leader in laser hair removal.
Laser Hair Removal Frequently Asked Questions
Laser hair removal is a noninvasive procedure that impairs the growth capacity of the hair follicles when they are in the active growth cycle (The anagen phase.) The melanin (what gives the hair it’s color) of the hair absorbs the heat of the laser and disables the follicle from producing more hair.
Laser hair removal is a suitable option for most men and women. People with dark hair and light skin are considered the best candidates but with InMode’s Diolaze, those who we’re once considered “iffy” candidates can now obtain exceptional results. Please schedule a free consultation to see what treatment is best for your skin type and goals.
*Note: Results and the number of treatments needed vary from person to person and still work best for certain hair and skin types. If you have blonde or red hair or have little to no contrast between your hair and skin color laser hair removal will not be nearly as effective. Laser hair removal does not work on grey hair.
*Clients need to consult with their doctor or aesthetic professional if they are unsure how to apply numbing cream correctly. Inappropriate use can cause adverse side effects.
Before Your Treatment
You will need to shave the area(s) being treated 24 to 48 hours prior to your treatment. Shaving should be the only type of hair removal you’re doing in between appointments (waxing and tweezing can hurt your results due to the hair not being present in the follicle.) Sun exposer and the use of tanning beds should be avoided four to six weeks prior to your appointment for best results and to avoid any damage to the skin.
After Your Treatment
These treatments involve no down time. Slight redness or follicular adenoma (swelling of the follicle) may occur and can last up to 24 hours depending on the client and the area of treatment. Applying ice packs and recommended post lotion after treatments will help calm the skin. Most clients’ hair starts shedding 10 days after the appointment. Exfoliating during this stage will help avoid ingrown hairs. All hair should be done shedding within three weeks then clients should notice a stunt of hair growth until it’s time for their next appointment.
