Botox & Dysport
It’s surprising how frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles often appear when we are as young as our 20s or 30s. Fortunately, Botox is a fast and easy solution that is effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours with the maximum effect visible at 30 days.
What to expect: Toxin injections are used to reduce the activity of the muscles in your face that frown lines and crow’s feet. This results in a smoother, more youthful look. It usually takes a week to see final results, but they can last 4-6 months and some people find, that over time the injections encourage the muscles to become less active, eventually leading to your fine lines and wrinkles being less severe and needing fewer treatments.
Common Treatment Areas for Botox Or Dysport: Fine lines and wrinkles form when skin loses collagen and elastin. The forehead, crow’s feet, and the glabella (the vertical lines between your brows) are the most common places that Botox is used. Botox is rarely used below the eyes. Botox can also be used in combination with fillers to maximize positive results.
As we age, our skin loses collagen and elastin, causing wrinkles and folds in the skin. Juvéderm is one way to get your youthful appearance back!
What to expect: Juvederm or Restylane is a hyaluronic acid (HA) injection. HA is a natural element found on our skin that we lose as we get older. Juvederm or Restylane is used to give a fuller look to your moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Most clients see immediate results but it can take 2-3 days to “settle in” and restore lost collagen. After your treatment you’re able to put on make-up on and go right back to normal activities.
Common Treatment Areas for Juvederm Or Restylane: Juvederm or Restylane is most popular for nasolabial folds (smile lines from the edges of your mouth to your nose), Marionette lines (Vertical lines that form at the corners of your mouth), and other facial areas that have lost volume.
Toxins vs Fillers
There are no anti aging skin care products that work as well or as long as Botox or fillers. The main difference between Toxins and Fillers is in the injections’ solutions themselves.
Fillers is a dermal filler that uses a hyaluronic acid-based gel to literally “fill in” wrinkles and rejuvenate aging skin. Toxins, on the other hand, is an injection that is used to eliminate the appearance of wrinkles by reducing muscle activity. This creates smoother skin at the injection site. Using them together will give you a more youthful look.
